Through Emerge Education’s 25-week Healthcare Administration Professional certificate program, you will be prepared to sit for several exams, including Medical Coder and Biller Certification (MCBC), Certified Medical Administration Assistant (CMAA), and Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS).

Healthcare Administration Professionals are responsible for providing support in areas such as billing, insurance, medical records, and compliance. They will also be prepared to tackle a wide array of tasks, including electronic record keeping, front office procedures, and managing healthcare regulations and laws.

In order to participate in this program you’ll need a High School Diploma or GED and web browser with internet connection.

Through this training, you’ll be able to:

  • understand basic human anatomy and terminology utilized in the medical office
  • comply with laws, regulations, and guidelines related to the healthcare industry
  • perform Medical Front Office and other general administrative procedures
