Through Emerge Education’s 33-week Allied Healthcare Profession certificate program, you’ll be qualified to sit for multiple certification exams, including Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA), Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS), Medical Coder & Biller Certification (MCBC) and Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

Allied Healthcare Professional is a unifying term for any professional who works in a health services position. This program, in particular, focuses on: health services positions, including pharmacy technician, electronic health records specialist, billing and coding specialist, and medical office administration.

In order to participate in this program, you’ll need a High School Diploma or GED and a web browser with an internet connection.

Through this training, you’ll be able to:

• appreciate how the use of EHR, practice management & pharmacy systems affect patient safety and reimbursement

• apply knowledge of pharmacology, medication order fill and inventory management in the pharmacy
