Through Emerge Education’s 12-week IT Security and Network Technician certificate program, you’ll be qualified to sit for the CompTIA Network+ certification exam and the CompTIA Security+ certification exam.

An IT Security and Network Technician has knowledge of security and networking administration to manage risks and the overall systems of an organization’s network. Common job duties may include implementing and monitoring security on networks, applications, and operating systems and responding quickly and effectively to security breaches.

In order to participate in this program, you’ll need a High School Diploma or GED and a web browser with an internet connection. A CompTIA A+ certification or two years of experience in IT administration with a security focus is also recommended.
